Langspool is a desktop software application for macOS that teaches vocabulary using spaced repetition. Users download the app and study language vocabulary locally on their device. The app uses an algorithm to schedule word reviews based on the user's performance. User study progress, mastery scores, and settings are stored exclusively on the user's local device and are never transmitted to our servers. The app offers a free tier of 100 vocabulary words and a one-time paid license (€19) that unlocks the full vocabulary set. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record. We collect the user's email address if they voluntarily provide it for purchase confirmation or product updates. With explicit opt-in consent, we collect anonymous, aggregate usage analytics including session length, study frequency, and word rating patterns. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics data.

12. LOCAL DATA STORAGE
Langspool is a local-first application. Your vocabulary progress, mastery scores, study history, and application settings are stored exclusively on your device in a local database. This data is never transmitted to our servers, never accessible by Langspool, and is permanently deleted when you uninstall the application. We have no ability to access, recover, or delete this local data on your behalf.
